Professional Background
Over 20 years of practical professional experience, involving
16 years as an intern, Project Architect, Project Manager or
Principal in the offices of registered Architects, and over 4
additional years as head designer and project co-ordinator in
Residential Development and Speculative Housing. In addition,
8 years of actual experience in the construction trades as a
carpenter and contractor. Since 1985 operated a part-time proprietorship,
Design Resources, offering design and contract architectural
services. This business evolved into a full-time sole proprietorship,
in operation from 1989 through 1992, and was re-established as
Arkatec/Kim Anderson AIA in 1996.
